Teacher Grants
Invest in Hanover Teachers
Through the HEF, you can improve education in Hanover County by empowering educators. Funds raised through private donations and business partnerships support many programs. One of those is teacher grants. Grants help our teachers expand their knowledge, try new projects, and bring in new technologies that spark imagination and support effective instruction. Donors support this work through endowed and annual gifts. HEF is a 501c3 organization; tax ID 54-1573406

In other words, do not apply for a General Grant if your initiative
encourages an interactive approach to learning
engages a traditional topic in a creative way
inspires learning
encourages the effect instruction in special education
addresses the daily care needs of special education students
addresses specific student needs at Mechanicsville High School and its feeder schools
If your initiative falls under any of those categories, please apply for the grant that specifically addresses that innovation.
If your initiative is different than anything described above, please use the General Grant application to submit your request.
